Basic Modeling Revit Architecture

Information
- Durations: 3 days | 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Fee: RM1600.00 | HRDC : RM1700.00
Schedule:
- UTM KL : 2025
- UTM JB : 2025
Basic Modeling Revit Architecture training course is designed to teach you the Revit functionality as you would work with it in the design process. Begin by learning about the user interface and the Revit commands for design development, followed by those available for construction documentation. Since building projects themselves tend to be extremely complex, Revit Architecture is a necessarily a complex program.
- The objective of the Basic Modeling Revit Architecture training course is to enable students to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. This training course focuses on basic tools that the majority of users need to work with Revit Architecture
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
- Describe building information modeling methodology and its benefits.
- Set up a project and transfer standards between projects, add and modify levels in project model, create and modify grids.
- Add dimension and spot dimension symbol, work with text and tags.
- Work with detail views, add 3D and 2D elements and detail components.

Revit Architecture Advanced

Information
- Durations: 2 days | 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Fee: RM1500.00 | HRDC : RM1600.00
Schedule:
- UTM KL : 18-20 February 2025
- UTM JB : 25-27 February 2025
Using 3Dimensional objects helps you communicate your ideas to those who may not be familiar with the plans, sections and side views of your design. This 2 days course provides a through grounding in 3D fundamentals, teaching how to produce 3D drawings and models in AutoCAD. Participant will learn how to create a series of simple models by combining solid primitives such as boxes, wedges and cylinders with the union command. Students will learn to control user coordinate system and use the subtract and intersect command to create increasingly complex primitive models before progressing with extrusions, resolves, sweeps and loft objects.
- To educate AutoCAD users in the abundance of concepts and techniques employed in computer-aided design and drafting
- Users who are familiar with 2D drawing techniques in AutoCAD and want to create 3D models of their design.
Creating 3D drawings
- Getting to know the 3D Modeling Workspace
- Coordinates in 3D
- Drawing in 3D using wireframe
- Creating 3D Form from 2D Shapes
- Moving around Your Model
- Getting a Visual Effect
- Turning a 3D view into a 2D AutoCAD Drawing
Using Advanced 3D Features
- Mastering the User Coordinate Systems
- Understanding the UCS Options
- Using Viewports to Aid in 3D Drawing
- Creating Spiral Forms
- Modifying Objects in 3D Space
Editing & Visualizing 3D Solids.
- Understanding Solid Modeling
- Creating Solid Forms
- Creating Complex solids
- Editing Solids
- Streamlining the 2D Drawing Process
- Visualizing Solids
