Kuala Lumpur, 20 June 2025 – In conjunction with National Training Week (NTW) 2025, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, through the Institut Sultan Iskandar (UTM-ISI), organized an in-person workshop titled “The Untold Truth about AutoCAD & Revit.” The event was held at the Banquet Hall, UTM Kuala Lumpur.
The workshop was led by Ms. Suryati A. Samad, a certified Autodesk trainer. The purpose of this workshop was to introduce participants to the basic usage of AutoCAD and Revit software. Attendees were guided step-by-step on how to use the software, from basic interface introductions to fundamental drawing production functions.
This program primarily benefited participants new to CAD software, including students from MJIIT UTM and industry representatives from companies like Daikin Malaysia and Panasonic. It helped participants understand basic steps such as tool usage, plan layout, and introduced the differences between AutoCAD and Revit.
This program is part of UTM’s effort to support the development of fundamental skills in technical and design fields, in line with the NTW 2025 celebration organized by HRD Corp.
